Summer is an incredibly busy time here in Uist and is the best opportunity to relax by the beach, explore our loch and rivers, or walk along our stunning coasts. You can also experience many of our festivals, highland games, agricultural shows and many more.

As Uist sits neatly against the Gulf stream, it rarely gets very cold here. This makes the winter months a great time of year to explore our landscape without too much change in the weather. It's still probably best to pack for all seasons, though.

Christmas & Hogmanay
